Willie’s Prints at SNGMA2
Willie’s Prints on show at SNGMA2
An exhibition of sixteen Barns-Graham prints has just been installed at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art Two and is open for viewing now. Selected from a gift of eighty six prints that the Barns-Graham Charitable Trust donated in Willie’s name to the National Galleries in 2013, the images range from the November Series of 1991 to the Water Dance Series of 2003, and include etchings, aquatints and screenprints, many of which were produced in collaboration with Graal Press of Roslin, Midlothian. The Trust is sponsoring several educational activities surrounding this event, details of which will be posted when they become public. This is a dynamic, eclectic display of images from an artist working at the peak of her abilities while in her eighties!
