Visit Stand 8 at London Art Fair

Waterhouse & Dodd have launched their new role as London representatives of Wilhelmina Barns-Graham with a strong group of paintings presented at the London Art Fair. Holding pride of place is Red Movement on Violet (1925) which has already found an overseas buyer.

The seven paintings on show represent several decades of the artist’s work, from the 1940s – Houses St Ives Cornwall (1945) – to two Scorpio Series paintings from the 1990s. This is complemented by Expanding Forms No.1 (Lemon), a  gouache from 1980. The Barns-Grahams are interspersed among the gallery’s other works by artists who include Paul Feiler and Prunella Clough, Martin Brewster and Cecil Collins.

The Waterhouse & Dodd stand is set in the Museum Section on the ground floor of the Fair. This year’s guest museum is The Lightbox, Woking, which is  home to the extraordinary Ingram Collection of Modern and Contemporary British Art.

The Fair closes on Sunday 22nd january.
