Events for Modern Scottish Women Artists exhibition

As part of the exhibition Modern Scottish Women Painters and Sculptors 1885-1965 at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art 2, supported by the Barns-Graham Charitable Trust, there is an ongoing programme of events, some of which are also supported by the Trust. A highlight coming soon is the lecture on Wilhelmina Barns-Graham’s printmaking by her collaborator Carol Robertson of Graal Press. Robertson worked extensively with the artist in a two way exchange that was exciting for both women. This takes place next week, over lunchtime on Tuesday 29th March, at the Hawthornden Lecture Theatre of the Scottish National Gallery’s  Mound gallery. The talk extends the focus on Barns-Graham’s prints, a selection of which are currently on display at SNGMA2. Not to be missed!
